Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TOYOTA is now offering a fourspeed automatic gearbox as an option on its Land Cruiser 4x4.

The new automatic box has a 0.717:1 overdrive top gear ratio matched to a final drive ratio of 4.1:1 compared with the 3.7:1 final drive ratio on the fivespeed manual box.

A transmission cooler is fitted as standard on the automatic Land Cruiser, as well as an electronic shift from two-wheel drive high ratio to four-wheel drive high ratio via a dashboard-mounted switch.

By improving its casting technology, Toyota has also dispensed with the cylinder lin ings on the Land Cruiser's four litre diesel engine, which has resulted in a higher compression ratio and a slight increase in power and torque to 76kW (101hp) and 241Nm (177Ib ft).

The Land Cruiser automatic costs £14,584.
