A SPECIAL competition for owner-drivers is being staged on Satui day, September 19, the day before the CM Lorry Driver of the Yeg finals.
The competition, which is being held at the I_DoY site at Cranfiel( in Bedfordshire, will be open to all owner-drivers who own an operate a single vehicle over 3.5-tonnes gvw. There will be seve classes, based on vehicle weight, and a maximum of 100 entries wi be permitted.
There will be a mini Certificate of Professional Competence exarr ination, a mechanical fitness vehicle inspection, and a vehicle liver and equipment assessment.
Competitors will need to have their vehicles at Cranfield by llarr and the competition will be over by 5pm.
You can bring your family and friends along to see the event, a the CM LDoY exhibition, with test driving and other major attra. lions, will be in full swing. Full catering facilities will be available.
