Made from damp-resistant Terylene or nylon, Guardian Gardlok lashings are supplied in three widths, 19mm 25mm (1 in.) and 50mm (2in.), having breaking strains of 635kg Ii ,4001b.), 908kg (2,000lb.) and 2,267kg (5,0001b.) respectively, a heavy duty 2in. lashing having a breaking strain of 4,535kg (10,0001 b.) The special metal fittings have been designed so that they can be used quickly and easily even by unskilled labour. The lashings are applicable to all shapes of load.

For use with sea cargo, Gardlok marine lashings are made from Terylene which has been specially treated with PVC to give them maximum resistance to oil and extreme weather conditions. The width of the lashings is 50mm (2in.) and they have a breaking strain of more than 4.,535kg110,00011a).

A heavy-duty steel-lever tensioner replaces the conventional bottle screw, so that one quick, simple operation ensures that the lashing is tight and secure. Attachment to the deck can be by shackle or hook.
