Remember that piece last week about the official application forms from the Ministry of Transport being printed in Welsh? I suggested that this was because Prince Charles had addressed his adopted countrymen in their native language at the Investiture, and I expressed the hope that it would not be catching.
This week comes the news that the Welsh office is giving consideration to the possibility of introducing bilingual traffic signs in Wales. So it appears that this is contagious, which leads me to this thought: Will the men of Wales follow the Prince's example and give up 50 per cent of their salary ?
