• The Port of London Authority has produced a new comprehensive „guide 'to export procedure in London's enclosed dock systems under PLA control.

The guide, issued free by the Authority. covers all aspects for shipping exports through the enclosed docks of the port, including new documentary procedures and the other measures adopted to speed the flow of exports. These include the pre-booking system for lorries delivering goods to the 'docks, lorry control parks and the ,clock operation information centres. Documentary procedures including customs entries, bills of lading and shipping notes are also fully explained. • • The 16-page illustrated publication will be available for the first time at the MA's stand at the Export Services Exhibition, to be held at Olympia, London, from September 8to 16.
