I refer to page 59 of your September 21 issue and wish to state that this company has no direct connection with the Eaton Corporation. although we have in the past co-operated with them on various projects. This is normal practice with other transmission manufacturers.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show the EatonMAN demonstration vehicle was equipped with a Lipe-Rollway twin-plate pull-type clutch and this is possibly where the confusion arose.
