Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CREWS of fishing boats from Lossie1---• mouth are sometimes forced to put into Burghead, Hopeman or Buckie, but they nevertheless want their fish to be taken to their home base. An adequate road transport service is therefore required.

This argument was advanced before the Scottish Deputy Licensing Authority last week, when Mr. W. Stewart, Lossiemouth, sought to carry fish, fishing gear and requisites between the town, Burghead, Hopeman, Buckle and Elgin, also to transport general goods in Lossiemouth.

Mr. Stewart said that no matter where or when boats arrived, transport had to be provided quickly, so that the markets would be reached.

Lossiemouth was the largest Seinenet fishing port in Britain, it was stated. The Authority, granting the application, said that the proposed services would be to the advantage of the whole Moray Firth fishing industry.
