Out of 123 general-haulage vehicleonly units (429 vehicles) offered, 90 units (298 vehicles) had been sold. All tenders had been rejected for 29 units (114 vehicles) and four cases . (17 vehicles) were outstanding. Tenders had been accepted for ,two vehicle-only contract-hire units (42 vehicles) and all tenders had been rejected for one unit (three vehicles).

Thus, only 23 per cent, of the vehicles have been sold, but the result is ne worse than the ustial for units including property,
