So imagine the surprise of motorway police when they were overtaken by one doing 167km/h (104mph), The incident occurred on the M20 and led to the disqualification of driver Clive Richley for 21 days and a £150 fine. Richley swears that the thundering three-wheeler had not been modified in any way — it must have been aided by a powerful following wind.
