Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Over 3,000 Astramax vans have been ordered by Royal Mail after Vauxhall presented an overall package which beat Royal Mail's usual supplier, Ford.

The vehicles are mainly for replacement in Royal Mail's 34,000-strong fleet: showroom prices would have cost over £22m.

Ray Bayfield, Royal Mail's head of road transport, says; "We're looking at buying our vehicles as a package, and this time Vauxhall won for a number of reasons. They were good on service, parts, warranty, residual values and training.

"Over the last few years, we've used the Ford Escort, which is an excellent vehicle... we still see Ford as a major supplier of these vehicles and others," Bayfield continues.

The Astramax vans will be kept for three years.
