,LCOLM HOWITT has become the new general manager of Cloyed Transit, the Langburgh, Middlesbrough and Stockton municibus operation.
le leaves his present position of deputy general manager of uthend Transport to take over from Bill Cottham, who is now ector general with West Yorkshire PTE. Mr Hewitt's previous .eer in the transport industry took him from Cardiff City Transport 1964 to Lancaster Transport as traffic superintendent in 1974. He ik up the Southend job in 1976.
