Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IT MAY BE criticised for selling unhealthy meals, but McDonalds claims to be doing its bit for the environment by running a fleet of trucks on its used cooking oil.

The fast-food chain says every vehicle in its 155-strong fleet will be converted to run on cooking oil from 9(X) of its restaurants. The oil will be combined with pure rapeseed oil to make highquality biodiesel, although McDonalds hopes in time to run vehicles on 100% cooking oil. The decision by McDonalds and its distribution partner, Keystone Distribution,is expected to make a carbon saving of 1,675 tonnes a year. A trial of the initiative, which started last August, has used 150,000 litres of McDonalds' used cooking oil to create the EN14214grade biodiesel.

McDonalds' switch to biofuel begins immediately, with half of Keystone's 45-vehicle fleet at its Basingstoke distribution centre being converted.
