Recognizing where the needs of the customer can be best served has not, in the past, been the strongest asset of the mcitor repair industry. Recentiy, however, a West London garage group, Brew Brothers Ltd., started a special night and Saturday morning service programme, aimed at providing facilities for operators of fleet cars and light delivery vans based in Central London.

All users of vehicles know the problems that can arise when service or repairs have to be completed on weekdays when a company's business is being carried on. To have access to an organization which can handle the servicing of 150 vehicles per day, and if necessary another 150 during the night, is to have better facilities than many fleets with their own garages. But to be able to have work done during Saturday as well, is almost Utopia.

As a further service to those who carry out their own servicing and repairs, and for the smaller garages doing work for operators, Brew Brothers has decided to keep its overthe-counter spares department open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturday mornings also. This extra service will be of value to those doing repairs at the end of a day's running, when it is often the case that what has to be done is known, but what can be done is delayed because parts cannot be obtained until the next morning.

Brew Brothers head office is at 133 Old Brampton Road, SW7, and the company is a Rootes main dealer.
