Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SOME increases in fares on coach services for workers at the Austin Motor Company's factory are to be granted, the West Midland Traffic Commissioners said in Birmingham last week. They reserved their decision on applications by eight Midlands coach operators so that they could decide how much the increases should be.

Mr. K. Mynett, for the objectors, the Austin Shop Stewards' Committee, said the amount asked for in one instance was 60 per cent, of the existing fare.
