JACKSON MECHANICAL Services (UK) has been granted authorisation to base two vehicles and one trailer at the Stanley Handling facility in Coldharbour Lane, Harpenden, subject to the following conditions: • All loading and unloading of authorised vehicles must take place within the confnes of the operating centre and at no time should vehicles be loaded or unloaded on Coldharbour Lane.

• Vehicles and trailers shall be parked at the operating centre in the area indicated on the plan attached to the licence, and this parking area shall be kept clear for the sole purpose of parking and manoeuvring the authorised vehicles and trailers at all times.

• Vehicles shall be parked within the confnes of the operating centre at all times when not in use and at no time should be left unattended on Coldharbour Lane or any other road within the vicinity of the operating centre.

• Vehicles shall enter and exit the operating centre in forward gear at all times..

• No loading or unloading of authorised vehicles at the operating centre before 7am and after 7pm Mondays-Fridays, before 9am and after 12 midday on Saturdays. No loading or unloading of authorised vehicles on Sundays or public holidays.

• No more than three return journeys to/from the operating centre to be made by each vehicle per day.

• No operation or movement of authorised vehicles at the operating centre before 7am and after 7pm Mondays-Fridays or before 7am and after 12 midday on Saturdays. No operation or movement of vehicles on Sundays or public holidays.

L Lynch

L Lynch (Plant Hire and Haulage) has submitted an application to base 14 vehicles and three trailers at the Sanders Lodge Industrial Estate in Rushden.

Freshlinc

Freshlinc hopes to base 15 vehicles and 20 trailers at the Sheerness Produce Terminal in Hartlip, Sittingbourne.

Royal Mail

Royal Mail has been given the go-ahead to station 70 vehicles and four trailers at Medway Mail Centre, Knight Road, Rochester.

Maritime Transport

Maritime Transport wants the green light for 40 vehicles and 50 trailers at a new site on the Fortress Distribution Park, Tilbury.

• The TC will consider disciplinary action against Unitrak Bulk Transfer, based in Hannington, Northants, at a PI on 9 January. Also up for consideration will be a variation application, the transport manager’s repute and a community authorisation.

• On 16 January, a new application and interim application from Cooper Bros Transport, based in Braintree, Essex, will be considered.

Eastbourne

• NGJ Transport based in Barking is due to appear at a hearing on 5 January, at which disciplinary action will be considered.

• A new application from London-based Senatrans Limited will be discussed on 5 January.

• Disciplinary action against Norman Road Haulage (Wimbledon) will be looked at on 11 January. The repute of the transport manager will also be up for consideration.

• Express Logistics (Harrow) will make a new application before the TC on 12 January.
