PERSONNEL changes affecting National Bus Company are: Stuart Senior takes over as general manager of Darlingtonbased United Automobile Services following the early retirement on medical grounds of Keith Holmes. Replacing Mr Senior as manager at Lincolnshire Road Car is its commercial manager, Paul Hill.
At London Country William Gunning has been appointed traffic manager on the retire ment of operating manager John Talbot. Mr Gunning was traffic manager for Trent.
Other National retirements are Roy Anderson, service standards manager for National Express and Thomas Martin, chief engineer of National Travel East.
National Welsh has a new general manager — Bill Jelpke, who has been doing special work on "value for money" audits for NBC. His new appoint ment follows the relinquishing of National Welsh managership by David Bending to concentrate on South Wales Transport.
Alder Valley has a reorganised engineering department.
Chief engineer Derek Allison will manage Alder Valley Engineering — a new, separate commercial engineering unit. John Bryant, assistant chief engineer, takes over responsibility for day-to-day engineering functions as fleet engineer.
