Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

completed for Canadian market

THREE 8ft-wide, Plaxton-bodied Daimler Roadliner coaches were delivered to McNab Bus Sales, Canada, last year. The first vehicle was delivered in June, and the remaining two vehicles were shipped last month.

All three have been specially built to conform with Canadian regulations and operating conditions, and are only 8ft wide overall, compared with the normal 8ft 2-i-in. applied -to modern Plaxton-bodied coaches.

Special features include the fitting of two Webasto oil-fired heaters to supplement the vehicles' normal heating system, and spot cooling by Smiths. The coaches are designed to seat 39 passengers and are fitted with tables.

In addition, the rear of each body is fitted out with a toilet compartment, fridge, cocktail cabinet and sink unit.

The chassis are fitted with fully rated Cummins V-6 engines developing 192 bhp, have a second alternator because of the additional electrical equipment carried, and feature power steering. A spring handbrake, a fire alarm for the engine compartment, and two push-out windows on each side of the • body are fitted to meet Canadian regulations.
