"Economic conditions are favourable, and finance remains cheap — both situations that spell good news for anyone selling trucks," he adds.
Turning to light commercials, Lutons and boxvans are in big demand at auction, and car-derived vans are enjoying a marked resurgence."There are plenty of them about,so buyers are able to cherry-pick the best examples," he says.
"Demand for dropsides and tippers is strong too, perhaps reflecting the house-building market, which is particularly buoyant in the south. Self-employed builders and decorators have been noticeably active here. Late-plated 4x4 double cabs remain very desirable, witt strong bidding whenever they a offered." •
