Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Dates and venues for the eliminating centres of the 1971 Lorry Driver of the Year Competition have now been established with the exception of Grimsby which has a provisional date of June 27. It is expected that centre secretaries will have all the necessary documentation by the third week in February.

Already there are signs that entries will again exceed those of previous years. Military entries will certainly increase.

The manoeuvring tests for the eliminating competition are a variation on three of the tests from last year's final. They requirecompetitors to display skill in reversing into a loading bay, kerb parking on the nearside with judgment in forward and reverse.

The importance of the Highway Code has been further stressed and competitors will now face 30 questions on this, and their legal responsibilities, in a 10-minute test. Up to 10 penalty marks will be imposed for each incorrect answer, or exceeding the time allowed.

The road route has been extended from six to 10 miles with an allocation of 200 penalty points.
