THE FIRST Eagle coach imported to Britain has returned to the Belgian factory of the Bus and Car Company for detail modifications to be carried out after its Department of the Environment certification exam.
Alterations needed to satisfy the DoE include; fitting an exterior step below the emergency exit; making the entrance door clutch operated; removing the courier's seat; and changing the flasher lenses.
Importer Terry Parsons told CM that he had had inquiries from many coach operators, but no more firm sales had yet been agreed.
