of the £3.5m, 700-acre proving ground being built by Vauxhall Motors Ltd. in Bedfordshire (CM August 22) was completed this week and is now being used for durability and development testing. The second stage will include a general handling course, a cross-country course intended primarily for trucks and a truck rough track.
