• Pickfords Ltd. announced this week the formation of a new subsidiary company, to be known as Pickfords Tank Haulage Ltd., controlling its interests in the bulk carriage of liquids, powders and gases. A spokesman for the NFC told CM that the move to form a separate organization was for management convenience: the new company would take over existing operations on January 1.
