AS A SUBSCRIBER to CM! notice that week after week the Barry Proctor piece is turning into a personal vendetta against everybody and his father.! have a small three-vehicle operation in Cardiff and now Mr Proctor's views have annoyed me to such a degree I find it necessary to air my opinion.
Firstly, Mr Proctor, the WorkingTime Directive; surely it's my human right to decide how long! work for as it's my company with which I've taken the risk.
Secondly it seems you are condoning speeding! Surely you should be giving your driver a bloody good telling off for risking his licence and yours for getting caught speeding on a 40mph limit rather than moaning about it.
He broke the law, live with it like the rest of us do. Think yourself lucky he got away with it for so long.
If you feel the need to rant do something constructive.
Fight for lower fuel duty and for a bit of respect for us bloody truckers, who are sick of companies like yourself getting on the moral high ground when it suits.
