LEYLAND grabbed the lion's share of the eight-wheeler in the first six months of the year with a penetration of 28 per cent.
This represented 278 vehicles out of a total market of 990 and includes Leyland Octopus and Scammell Routeman models.
Fodens was in second place with a market penetration of 23 per cent.
