AST week Stockton Town Council appointed three members to serve on the special Tees-side steering sub-committee which is considering the proposed amalgamation of the Tees-side transport undertakings.
A series of meetings will be held to discuss the proposal, but Stockton is still asking Middlesbrough Corporation transport committee to meet a deputation to ventilate the question of the desirability of the amalgamation before Tees-side County Borough comes into being.
Glasgow Traffic Experiment: A myriad digital computer with associated equipment is to be installed for use in the forthcoming Glasgow experiment in area traffic control.
