Grimley as vice-chairmen of the North Devon sub-area; Mr. F. M. Ling as chairman and Mr. W. J. Stoneman as vice-chairman of the Plymouth sub-area.

Mr. A. Adams has been elected chairman of the Dudley sub-area of the Road Haulage Association, with Mr. Male and Mr. B. J. Foster as vice-chairmen. Mr. D. H. Dale has been elected chairman of the Potteries sub-area, with Mr. R. G. Bassett as vice-chairman.

Mr. P. Dupree has been re-elected chairman of the Portsmouth area of the Traders Road Transport Association, with Mr. J. S. Ward as vice-chairman. Woodward and Son Ltd, The chairman and managing director of Crane Fruehauf Trailers Ltd., Mr. G. A. W. Crane, is paying a liaison visit to Fruehauf International Ltd. in the U.S.A. Mr. L. H. Allwood, chairman of Cranes (Durham) Ltd., is accompanying him.
