Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A range of Cost Cutter aluminium vans has been introduced by Coachwork Conversions Ltd, Windsor Street, Colne, Lanes, that is designed for Bedford CF 35cwt chassis and has been approved by the Bedford Special Vehicles Department. In every case the van has an unladen weight of under 30cwt in petrol-engine form.

Now in production a box van of 415 cu ft capacity affords a payload of 33cwt and is available as a 478 cu.ft. model, while a Luton model, the Luton Mk 1, has a capacity of 560 cu ft. An alternative version of the Luton, to which new weight-reduction techniques have been applied, is currently undergoing a three-month test and will be in production in November of this year

together with a new Maxivan walk-through van in the range that has a capacity and payload of 420 cu ft and 334-cwt respectively.

Common features of the van bodies include an aluminium framework assembled on a reinforced aluminium-alloy plank flooring. The Luton and box vans have a one-piece translucent glassfibre roof and are panelled in 19g half-hard alloy. A two-pie windscreen in a polished alloy frame is fitt in the alloy-framed glassfibre-panelled fro end of the Maxivan, the remainder of t body being panelled in 19g alloy.

The box van costs £359 in 415 cu ft for and £379 as a 478 cu ft model; the Ulu Mk I costs £416 1 Os and the Maxivan £51 15s.
