of the MI in Hertfordshire, bringing it four miles closer to London, was opened last Friday. The new strip of motorway runs from Aldenham to Brock' Hill and brings the total length of the MI to 126 Miles.
The new extension ends just over the Hertfordshire border, west of the junction between A41 and A5, but it is linked with Edgware Way by the Brockley Hill interchange. The interchange allows southbound traffic on the motorway to join the A41 and northbound traffic from A41 to join the motorway by means of slip roads.
