Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW direct link between a pulp mill in Sweden and a paper mill in England has been inaugurated, the UK road haulage section of the trip being carried out by McVeigh Transport Ltd., of Bow, London E.3. A consignment of 106 tons was loaded on six metal pallet flats of 20 tons capacity each, which were sent on semi-trailers into the Morrum Mill of the South Swedish Forest Owners' Association, at Blekinge.

The trailers were hauled to the Gothenburg terminal of the England-Sweden Line where the pallets were transferred by forklift truck to tractor-bogie units which were lriven on the "Saga" roll-on ferry.

On arrival at Tilbury the flats were trans ferred to the trailers of McVeigh artics which carried the loads direct to Wycombe Marsh Paper Mill at High Wycombe.

The delivery was made only one week after the customer had called forward this consignment, and even this time could be cut if required.

As an alternative to the pallet method the pulp could he loaded on 20-ton semitrailers which would make the entire journey behind Swedish tractive units in Sweden and British ones from Tilbury to the mill. Swedish Forest Products Ltd., the UK marketing office for Morrum Mill, already use this type of door-to-door service for chipboard and sawn timber.
