UN KEEPS THE TRANSPORT PEACE • From 1 January 1990, certain packaging used in the international transport of dangerous goods will have to be performance tested and marked in accordance with United Nations recommendations.
Key details of the scheme are given in a leaflet now available from the Department of Transport. Only accredited test stations will be able to carry out the UN procedures.
