• Spanish vehicle manufacturer Seat says the latest Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders figures show that its sales have leapt by 54% compared with March 1988, with first-quarter sales up by 62.2% on the same period last year.
Since its introduction in June 1988, sales of the Terra van (roadtest: CM 6-12 April) are building fast, with 76 registrations in March, 243 in the year-to-date and a running total )f 987.
