The danger of fuel pump seizures caused by fuel starvation is eliminated by a new-style cutout device. When the fuel supply drops below a set level, a warning light is activated and the burner cuts out automatically. The machine will carry on running as a cold water unit until the heating fuel is replenished. A second cutout is now linked with the water supply system. If the supply tap is turned off accidentally or the water is restricted for any reason, the burner will shut down and the machine will switch off completely after a further 10 minutes.
The advantages of this system include the prevention of damage to both the pump and the boiler.
And the third innovation is a technically-advanced shut-down mechanism.
