SOUTHERN BRS has launched a new service for the storage of files and documents not needed in the everyday life of an office.
It aims to cut the costs of storing the papers by four-fifths and claims that a telephone call will bring any file to an office within 10 miles of the Document And Data Service (DADS) depot at London's Silvertown within two hours.
Security services
BRS aims to cater for all major requirements of companies large and small who need to keep their files somewhere. The service also allows customers to deliver and return their own files. Security services are also available.
The company says that the average four-drawer filing cabinet costs about £200 a year in office space, and BRS is offering to store the same quantity of files for £40. It says that the saving could amount to millions of pounds in the City of London alone.
