Talking of answers to those who have been writing or leaving messages for our editor after his appearance in ITV's Drive In last week: " Will you please accept this composite 'thank you?' It seems •he gave Shaw Taylor and the chairman of the Council for the Preservation of Rural England all the answers you'd have given when they challenged the right of lorries to be on the road. Shaw Taylor described it as " strong television"
I'd have said it was a wee bit aggressive, but all too short, just like the Ali/Dunn encounter a few days later.
