Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first drop-sided aluminium-alloy tipper body to be produced by Telehoist Ltd, of Cheltenham, has been announced by the maker. It is available in lengths up to 14ft

and is included in the Telehoist Tel-by range of tipper bodies.

A new type of construction is employed to cater for the higher stresses produced in the absence of fixed sides, which includes more robust top rails and modifications that provide for increased stressing of the corner posts. The floor is constructed of fin. alloy plate, while the sides, headboard and tailboard are of 3/16in. plate.

Prototype tests have been made with a body mounted on a Bedford chassis that has been used by an operator to carry building materials, sand and ballast.
