Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• MAN is fitting its ECO engine range in its G90 7.5-tonners. MAN's entire family of truck now has the "environmentally friendly" engine.

The G90's 110kW (148hp) revised engine will have fourhole instead of single injectors and will have insulated side panels and sump. It is unlikely that the engine will be charge-cooled like the ECO versions on the M90 17-tormer and F90 tractive unit and heavy rigid.

MAN says the ECO range on the heavier trucks helps the environment by reducing exhaust emissions as it burns fuel more efficiently. It claims the fourhole injector allows cleaner combustion.

CI Felixstowe-based Russell Davies Distribution has taken on nine M90 17.192F 17-tonne curtainsiders, fitted with the ECO 142kW (190hp) engine. The trucks, based at Diss, Norfolk, have Lawrence David bodies and will be used on a mixed distribution operation.
