• An order for bus bodies worth nearly Ei-rn which, it is said, took two years to negotiate and involved thousands of miles of travel by sales executives was announced by Duple Group Sales Ltd. this week. It is an order for 48 buses mounted on Leyland Comet chassis and was placed by Lagos City Transport Service.
Receipt of the order follows an order from the State Transport Corporation of Ghana, for 10 single-deck buses which are currently being delivered, The illustration shows the first of the Ghana buses being loaded at the docks.
