MODEL TESTED/ PUBUSHED:

Dais CE covers the full range of rigids and tractors. For the distribution sector CF65 and CF75 are offered in 4x2 and 6x2 rigid variants. CF65 takes a lightweight Cummins ISBe sixcylinder engine in ratings from 220hp to 290hp, with a 250hp offering in between. CF75 is for heavier weight operations and employs Daf's 9.2-litre engine at 250hp, 310hp or 360hp.

All CFs use the same cab in day and sleeper format with a high level of driver comfort and quality. The control responses and overall quality feel would be welcome in a 3.5-tonne van.

Despite growing competition, the CF remains a strong choice among the current crop of distribution vehicles offering an excellent combination of performance, manoeuvrability and comfort. Daf's dominance of every UK sector it competes in proves people want its products.
