Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN ESSEX lorry driver has been cleared by a jury at Ipswich Crown Court of causing the death of a Cambridge car driver by reckless driving.

David Lodge, 42, of Little Clacton, had denied causing the death of Istvan Kerek, of Cambridge, in a crash on the A45 near Bury St Edmunds. The accident happened at night in thick fog on February 20.

Lodge was found not guilty of the charge, but found guilty of careless driving. He was fined 1:200, his licence was endorsed with five penalty points and he was ordered to pay i:50 costs.

Lodge told the court he had been driving lorries for 21 years and on the night of the accident was heading for Felixstowe with a loaded trailer.

The court heard that Lodge's lorry hit a broken down Mini car, ricocheted across the A45, then overturned, blocking the opposite carriageway.

As the lorry lay on its side, a car driven by Kerck, two BMW cars and a lorry crashed into it.
