After having been in operation since 1939, petrol rationing ceased in Eire on Tuesday.
On Sunday (January 6) three more Liverpool tram routes are due for con• version to motorbus operation.
As part of a scheme to centralize Guildford's bus services seven routes were transferred this week to the Onslow Street bus station.
The Thames 5-to1ner fitted with the Perkins oil engine now has Andre rubber-bonded engine supports, Tyre equipment of 34 by 7 ins., 10-ply rating, is used on both axles.
