"A dispute may be referred to mediation by agreement with the two parties. Either party may apply to the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution or other mediation provider. Ultimately, as a government agency, a decision made by VOSA may be challenged through the courts."
Will the ATF concept be reviewed after a certain timeframe?
"The ATE strategy has already undergone oxtensivo review by a cross-section of industry representatives. The ATF signatures secured already provide an early and strong indication that the industry will support the concept. However, like all transformations, we will be monitoring progress to ensure it is on course to deliver the benefits."
Could the pre-funded account (PFA) cause cashf low problems for operators?
"Funds for tests at VOSA test stations are already automatically drawn down from customer's PFAs seven days in advance, in line with current legislation. Customers without existing PFAs are required to pay for their test at the time of booking, which could be up to three months in advance."
