Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

column over a quiet lunchtime sandwich we were quite amused to read the small item about the blood tanker (Bird's Eye View, CM 21-27 January).

We would be very interested to talk to the people who can get a load of 10,000 gallons of blood into one tanker on a British road operating within the constraints of 38-tonnes GCW. In case you haven't noticed, by the time you add 10,000 gallons of blood to the ULW of the tractive unit and trailer, then the GCW of this vehicle was at least 60 tonnes! One other small point — the vehicle concerned had a capacity of only 5,000 gallons — there must have been a lot of barrels strapped on somewhere!
