THOSE operators who use pieces of rag soaked in paraffin, or other similar means for getting their gas producers under way, will be interested in the gaslighting torch designed expressly for this purpose by the Selas Gas and EngineeringCo., Ltd., Selas Works, City Road,
Manchester, 15. ,
Little explanation of its application is really. necessary except, perhaps, to say that, upou withdrawal from the air-inlet aperture, the gal is automatically cut off. This is brought about by the spring-loaded gas valve employed. An accompanying illustration shows this torch of which, we understand, large numbers hake been supplied..
