Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW bus station and garage opened by Lord Stafford on behalf of the Potteries Motor Traction Co. Ltd. this week can claim to be unique in that the premises include a tenpin bowling centre. The new station, in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, replaces an older station opened in 1944, built to utility standards, and is situated adjacent to a new shopping centre now under construction.' Buses on local through services will use the station as well as those terminating in Longton.

When designing the new premises, a job undertaken by the company's architects' department, the opportunity was taken to incorporate overnight parking facilities for the 74 vehicles previously stationed at Fenton. This latter garage had been built as a tram depot and was not really satisfactory. The new bus station includes a well-equipped engineering section, with four pits (two designed for underfloorengined buses) and a foreman's office. stofes, battery room, and so on. On the mezzanine floor is accommodation for a resident engineer, toilets and messroom, and on the floor above a men's changing room and bodybuilders' workshop. Passenger facilities include a licensed restaurant and, for those in a hurry, a licensed buffet. whilst the adjacent new shopping centre will be linked by a. subway.

The top floor of the building is occupied by a tenpin bowling centre, the second to he opened in this country by Magnet Bowling Ltd„ an associated company. All the latest equipment is incorporated. and facilities include a club. An advertising campaign "bowl by bps" is being undertaken in North Staffordshire by P.M.T.
