IN anticipation of the ending March 31 next of an agreement ma in 1928 between the two operators, bc Rotherham Corporation and t Mexborough and Swinton Traction ( are applying to the Yorksh Licensing Authority for permission run motorbus services over t Rotherham -Conisborough-Mexborou route. Rotherham Transport Co. mittee propose to object to t company's application.
The company are also applying 1 a reduction-in fares from Rotherham A. on each adult single fare and : on returns for workmen, who at prest have to take a single ticket each vg Workmen's returns would be availal to and from Rotherham centre. A pi tective fare in favour of Rotherin Corporation is proposed.
