• The Fodens Ltd annual report for the year ended April 1 1972, shows a tax paid profit of £431,156 (1971: £790,180). Turnover was down to £12,986,000 (£14,561,000). The early profit figures augured well for a strong recovery this year, said the chairman Mr Albert Stubbs. The output for April, May and June was 22.5 per cent above that of the same period last year.
