• Volvo GM Heavy Truck in the US is now fitting Cummins Road Relay to all Volvo trucks powered by Volvo's 1.112 engine, as fitted to the Volvo FfI12.
The system provides the dri.
ver with a continuous read-out of engine performance and trip information including fuel consumption and time. It also enables engine data to be downloaded to a PC via Cummins InRoads software. This means fault information and data on engine and driving performance can he analysed later.
There are no plans to offer the Cummins RoadRelay system on FH12 models in Europe, according to Volvo GB. Apparently Volvo is planning to offer a similar system itself.
