• Leyland Bus has won a £5.5million repeat order from Kowloon Motor Bus of Hong Kong for 110 three-axle Olympian double-decker chassis. Ninety will have Gardner engines and Voith gearboxes. The balance will comprise 10 Gardner -engined chassis and 10 with Cummins L10 engines, all will also be fitted with ZF gearboxes.

This order represents just over 50% of KMB's current chassis contract. The chassis, which will be 11.2 metres long, will be shipped built-up to Hong Kong where they wull be fitted with Alexander bodies supplied in kit form.
