A REQUEST for a sleeper cab extension for the Delta 1600 led to Hestair Dennis' collaboration with Locomotors Limited. In 12 working days designs were agreed, and the converted vehicle completed.
The standard Locomotors timber and steel framework is clad with steel exterior panels to follow style. Incorporation of the original back section minimises conversion cost.
Standard Locomotors features include curtains, a four-inch thick mattress, and an interior light over the bed, as well as a central locker box under the mattress.
Hestair Dennis' delivery time for the standard Delta 1600 is about three months from order. The sleeper cab extension by Locomotors Limited takes at most 15 working days from delivery to Andover.
