The Turbo 360 has been exhaustively tested under actual operating conditions, not only by Ford engineers but by many operators as well. The operators themselves have clocked up mileages varying from 35,000 to 70,000 in 12 months—a grand total of nearly a million miles; and in every instance they describe the Turbo 360 as impressive, with good pulling power and the capability of maintaining sustained high speeds. They report normal oil consumption, trouble-free service and improved fuel economy. These findings are borne out in independent road tests conducted by three leading transport journals — Commercial Motor, Commercial Vehicles and Motor Transport.
